Why a career change to medical writing?
In 2018, after many years in academia, I decided to make a career switch to a full-time medical writer. About me…
I am a PhD, AMWA-certified medical writer with many years’ experience teaching and developing biomedical courses at the university level.
I love researching, writing, and teaching biomedical sciences. In my courses, I would use online posts to help further course discussions.
I have served as both Secretary and Treasurer for the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) Florida chapter. For anyone considering medical writing as a career, AMWA is an invaluable resource.
My wife and I are also the proud parents of two amazing (of course!) sons. My family loves traveling, exploring, and hiking…almost any excuse to get out into the beautiful Florida sunshine!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
